The Challenge
Siam Royal View wanted to position itself as more than just another resort on Koh Chang. The island is full of properties that promote tropical beauty, relaxation, and ocean views, which makes it difficult for any one brand to stand out. The challenge was to communicate a deeper sense of serenity, exclusivity, and immersion that would resonate with high-end travellers seeking more than a vacation. Beyond visuals, the brand needed to deliver an emotional connection — a feeling of calm and escape that would linger with viewers long after they had seen the advertisement.
Our Approach
Our creative direction focused on immersive storytelling. Rather than producing a standard highlight reel of rooms, beaches, and amenities, we built a narrative around serenity itself. Every element — from cinematography and sound to pacing and colour palette — was designed to reflect the premium calm of Siam Royal View. We chose a cinematic style, employing sweeping aerial shots and rich, atmospheric scenes that bring out the textures of the island’s natural beauty. The aim was to make audiences feel as though they had already arrived, stepping into a private sanctuary where modern stress gives way to tranquility.
Execution
To bring this vision to life, our production crew travelled to Koh Chang for a three-day shoot. The schedule allowed us to capture sunrise and sunset sequences, as well as the island’s shifting moods throughout the day. A cinema drone was used to record dramatic aerial footage of the coastline and surrounding bays, while a speed boat gave us the freedom to film sweeping entries into the resort from the sea. Every shot was carefully composed to showcase how the architecture blends seamlessly with nature, reinforcing the brand’s promise of a premium sanctuary.
Post-production was equally considered. We applied a cinematic grade that emphasized warmth and natural tones, paired with a sound design that layered ambient audio — waves, rustling palms, and distant birdsong — beneath a refined musical score. Editing choices favoured longer, more deliberate cuts, allowing viewers to breathe within each frame. The final two-minute commercial combined these elements into a piece that feels less like an ad and more like an invitation to serenity.

The TVC quickly elevated Siam Royal View’s brand perception. Shared across television and digital platforms, it generated strong engagement from both domestic and international audiences.
